Letter of Intent

Dear Executive Producer,



My name is Alisha McCain and I am a Senior at The College of New Jersey, majoring in Communications with a concentration in Film/Television. Throughout my years in college, I have gained extensive experience and skills in the Film and Television field. I am writing to express my interest in a position at your Production Company.

I am a motivated individual who has excelled in all projects put before me. For the past two years I have been at my current position at The Syndicate,a video production company, in that time I have climbed the ranks and I have gone from Intern to Assistant Director. Here I have worked on documentaries,short films, commercials, music videos, and various video projects. At this company I was able to build my video production skills and strengthen my leadership, administration, and teamwork skills while adding my own personal creativity to all projects I have worked on at The Syndicate. With what I have shared with you this is why your Production Company can benefit with me on your team.

Biography

I was raised in Southern New Jersey where I live with my parents. I also, have two older brothers whom I adore. I very much appreciate my parents because they have supported me in all things I have wanted to do in all my life. When I was in the third grade and wanted to be a Doctor they bought me a medical book. In the fourth grade I wanted to be a greek mythologist and they allowed me to study greek mythology. In the fifth grade I wanted to play piano and they bought me a Grand piano. When I was in high school and decided to be an Obsessive Compulsive Disorder specialist you guessed it they supported me.

So when I entered my sophomore year at The College of New Jersey and changed my major from Psychology to Communications to become an actor, you would think they would support me, but actually they didn't. I soon figured out why, when I realized I can't act. But my passion for filmmaking was still there. In fact, in the background through all the years growing up I have always been fascinated with Cinema. After taking a few Film courses at TCNJ I realized I wanted to be a Director,Producer, and Writer and that was something my parents agreed upon.

So as I set on my venture as an aspiring Director,Producer, and Writer I have learned so much about myself. For one I learned I have great administration and delagating skills. I love writing lists and organizing and realized I am great at assigning people, based on their abilities, at certain tasks they are best fit at doing. Which I think will make me a great Producer some day. Also, I believe I have a great vision and creativity that very few have and believe I can be a great Autuer director in this lifetime.

One thing I know for sure I am destined for great things in life. I hope by reading this you will want to be part of the greatness that will become of me.
